Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What are the main benefits of using drones over traditional ground methods?
Drones offer three major advantages: speed, access, and safety. They can easily reach steep hills, wet fields, and dense groves where heavy trucks get stuck. Because drones fly above the ground, they also eliminate soil compaction and crop damage.
2. Can your drones handle both liquid and dry materials?
Yes. Our advanced fleet is equipped with interchangeable payloads. We can apply liquid treatments (like liquid fertilizers and herbicides) or spread dry, granular materials (such as cover crop seeds and dry fertilizers).
3. How does drone-applied pond sealing work?
Instead of using heavy land equipment that can destroy your pond banks, our drones fly directly over the water. We uniformly spread specialized, eco-friendly pond-sealing materials over the exact leak zones. The materials sink to the bottom, expand, and naturally plug the leaks without disturbing the water ecosystem.
4. Is drone roof cleaning safe for my house?
It is much safer than traditional pressure washing. We use a "zero-foot-traffic" method. No workers will walk on your roof, which eliminates the risk of cracked tiles, broken shingles, or falling accidents. The drone gently sprays a specialized soft-wash solution to kill moss, mold, and algae at the source.
5. Are you licensed and insured to operate commercial drones in Florida?
Yes. We operate in strict compliance with federal and state regulations. We hold FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilot Certificates and all necessary state agricultural aerial application licenses and insurance policies required to safely treat your land and home.
6. What types of pasture weeds can your drones target?
Our drones can spray for a wide variety of invasive pasture weeds, including dogfennel, thistle, tropical soda apple, and smutgrass. Because we can target specific areas, we can treat dense weed patches directly without wasting chemicals on clean grass.
7. Will the drone spraying harm my livestock or cattle?
No. We only use EPA-approved herbicides that are safe for pastures. However, depending on the specific product used, some chemicals require a short grazing restriction period. We will review the product label with you beforehand to ensure your herd stays completely safe.
8. How much pasture acreage can your drones cover in a day?
Coverage depends on the terrain and the specific application rate required for your project. On average, our commercial spray drones can efficiently treat up to 250+ acres per day, making quick work of large pastures and hard-to-reach areas.
9. Can your drones spray pastures that have dense tree canopy or power lines?
Yes. Our drones are equipped with advanced obstacle-avoidance radar systems and terrain-following sensors. This technology allows them to safely navigate around power lines, fence rows, and the scattered trees commonly found in Florida pastures.
10. What weather conditions affect your ability to spray pastures?
For safety and maximum chemical effectiveness, we do not spray in high winds (typically over 10 mph) to prevent drift onto neighboring properties. We also avoid spraying during heavy rainfall. If the weather forces a delay, we will reschedule your service immediately for the next clear day.
